What can you expect to see?

Speakers at TED events - some of the world’s most fascinating, innovative and influential individuals - are challenged to give “the talk of their life” in 18 minutes or less. Attendees are as exceptional as the speakers. Sharing happens from the stage or in the lounge. It’s the conversation that will change your life. TEDX is a new extension initiative of the TED organization. The first TEDx Sacramentoconference will be held soon and follow the TED form and spirit.

Conferences

Our TEDx Sacramento conferences will be held in the style and form of the finest TED Conferences. 150 of the greatest local minds, business leaders, and entertainers hope to be gathering in April of 2010 at the CSUS campus. California is leading the way in many of the most important issues facing us today, and Sacramento is at the heart of California's public policy. Our first major conference will address the issues of sustainability and how California can continue to take the lead in create a better, greener future. Once the details have been officially accepted by the TED organization, we will have make them available here. Stay tuned for more information becomes available. Like all TEDx Sacramento events, this will be an independently organized event.
