Speakers at TED events - some of the world’s most fascinating, innovative and influential individuals - are challenged to give “the talk of their life” in 18 minutes or less. Attendees are as exceptional as the speakers. Sharing happens from the stage or in the lounge. It’s the conversation that will change your life. TEDX is a new extension initiative of the TED organization. The first TEDx Sacramentoconference will be held soon and follow the TED form and spirit.
Local TED fans (TEDsters) and TEDx organizers alike gather regularly for planning meetings as well as unofficial TEDTalk viewings and discussions. We believe in creating a community of like-minded change-agents in our city.
We gather every Tuesday morning at 8:00 am to watch and discuss the latest TEDTalks, as they are projected onto a 10 foot movie screen. The meetings take place at TEDx Sacramento headquarters, inside The Urban Hive, at 1931 H Street, Sacramento, CA.
